Billet cylinder head

I think we mean the same thing. But what if the cage had 0,1mm play against the pin, and let's say 0,5mm play against the rod. Then maybe the cage would not touch the id of the rod, but only the od of the pin? Getting my point? Or do you think the cage will deform (oval shape) and still touch both pin and rod?
 
The stock crank will have to do until an new one has been produced. This time trying to weld it with 0,05 mm throw (cheeks together).

I wouldn't have welded the pin quite like that Mats. I'd have welded across the top and across the bottom = two welds. anyway, good luck.

Thanks for charing that info, Taffy!

Today I bent some alu-tubing for my new coolers. Made a couple of random bends to choose from. Sand, heat and a decent bending machine does the trick!
