Just looking for a baseline reading of compression for a FX650 with cam decompressor.

Yes - I am aware of the theoretical AND that a leak down test percentage loss is by far a better way to check - however I am currious to know what other people are getting. Now that our R6 starter mod is complete I want to get a baseline.

Prior to repairing a worn autodecompressor - we were reading 130PSi while cranking. Now that everything is new we are getting 95PSI.

Auto decompressor had 0.020 wear.

Some manufacturers list compression numbers with cam decompressor activated (Honda TRX450r - 65 psi) (Suzuki LTR450 - 120 psi) (honda CRF250r - 57 psi)

interesting, my 600 would crank out 130psi with throttle closed and with the auto decomp. would have to crank engine for approximatly 3-4 seconds to get 130 psi and all was in good working order.........i just did a rebuild but have yet to do another baseline test.....
