Hi guys, I have a bike that will unfortunately be for sale, just curious what you guys think it is worth in Adelaide Australia. I have seen some on bike point etc, and prices seem to vary alot. I am not after top dollar but don't want to sell myself short.

2005 Husaberg FS650, in excellent condition.

Has been 100% reliable and very well looked after. Oil and filter changed at 800 to 1000k intervals and never seen a race track.
Replaced battery a few months ago. Starts instantly off the button and easily kick started if for some strange reason you want to kick start it!

New rear Pilot Power tyre, front is still original with about 60% tread. Regularly checked valve clearences. Doesn't use oil or have any reason for concern.

10500klms.

Comes with owners manuals, original headlight and tail light, various size sprockets and tool kit.

Regretfully selling due to house purchase, can help out with interstate shipping and inspection by dealer if required. Bike is faultless and will not disapoint.

I appreciate any input.
Thanks.

I have just purchased an 08 model after looking for an 05 onwards. I can tell you there is probably 3-5 FS650E on Bikepoint, Bikesales and Autotrader at any one time. Your bike will be at the upper end of the high kms mark for that year model. I would say $6500-$7000. I gave into finding a low km FS so i just bought an 08 seeing there is talk of no SM for 09, i thought an 08 would be a good buy.

people want to pay five or six grand for them .. i am not saying thats what its worth . i am saying thats what they want to pay .

just convert your 09 into a SM , not cheap but instant street cred !

Mine is an '05 as well. I paid $7000 and it had just over 6000k's on it and 120 hours.

Thats some front tyre to have done 10500k's and still be 60%. Must be on the back wheel alot. :)
Good luck with the sale.
P.s. U should post a pic in case anywhere here is interested.

Husaben,

its a shame dude, you havent had her long, I've been keeping an eye out for you everytime I'm in Adelaide, to no avail.

you dont want a ute instead do you???

Azza.

Husaben, Just forget the house the bike is much more fun. I paid $7000 for my 2005, 2300km in pretty good condition. Looks like house prices could get cheaper as credit dries up, if you can be patient.
