So as it the title is the a aftermarket stand for the older bergs? I see the Trail Tech ones for the post 09 these look great are sold as been much stronger and are half the of the cheapest OME replacement… So is there a equalivent for the older frames? With a different spring mount can the tour tech be used? Has anyone tried this.
Thought i should add a bit of back history here the previous owner of my bike had snapped the factory stand, and welded it with a mig and now the cromo is heat damaged and brittle so cant just weld the old stand back together, if i buy a OME replacement it may snap too as i am a bit short and often use the stand to mount my bike.
