This is gonna sound dumb....but that thing look light......

A light BMW? Yeah right.....

They're really missing a trick though - where is the funny front end? It would make it far more interesting....

Looks quite good tho,
Simon

Where's the infamous cylinder head sticking out the the side? Hee-Hee

I recall reading something recently about Jimmy Lewis from Dirt Rider getting to race the HP1 at some big event?

Does anyone know what race it was and if it has happened yet?

Heres an ugly rumour....its got 60 hp and under 330 lbs....its a Rotax engine........

Rotax, Bombadier, BMW are synonymous no? I am not being a smarta$$. I am just under that impression and curious if anyone happens to know :)

Looks like a sweet bike even if it is not built for my needs.

BMW has to learn to make bikes under 230lbs if they want to be competitive in enduro or supermoto.

Unless they want bikes that will lead until the rider falls and is unable to lift it up.

That was my Mr Obvious moment of the day, see you tomorrow.

Let's see... are you referring to the HP2 and the 2005 Baja 1000? One of the toughest in history.

3rd in Open Pro, just behind Honda's "A" and "B" teams of Johnny Campbell and Bobby Bell.

Ummm..Uhhhh...   That would be it!!

That is a solid result. I bet there were some big smiles from the HP design team when they got that news

Let's see... a 450lbs. bike through one of the most technically demanding courses ever run in Baja... 3rd is just fine.

At breakfast the next morning Klaus Pepperl of HP, who's attended every HP2 outing, was so thrilled he couldn't contain himself.

Bomber - I know you're just foolin'...
