600 rod kits!

Zaga files on the way soon, I hope they help.

Taffy.... my dear fellow you have missed the point and lost the plot all in one go yet again.

you admit that you received a refund from JBS but you did not pass that refund onto your customers 8O 8O all it would have taken was a small thread "dear valued customers please check the ID of your headgaskets"

same with the cams, you could have saved us all a lot of bother, no its not "dozens" of failed cams its about a dozen and yes they are all in contact with me, the mods can look into my Pm box if they like

I also still have all your emails to back up what you call "lies" I won't whinge to the mods about your abuse but if they want I can show them what you wrote to me. I DID NOT insist that your cooking valve would be fine nor did you offer to replace it ... you told me it was a big fuss over nothing and "get on wirrit" I still have those emails too.

you do realize don't you that every one of your abusive posts like this one above loses you customers? its your business I won't judge you for the way you run it

sincerely though good luck with your current approach, I know you told me your repeat customer list is pretty small.. that's nothing to do with me.

Zaga has enough info now from me to get his own big end bearing so as far as I'm concerned my point is made ... in my experience if you want a one off big end bearing don't bother with Taffmeisters

Hmmmm utter tosh anyone ? Looks like the site is still " healthy " Give it a rest Taffy, bushie was only trying to help a guy out ansdit just exploded like so many threads before. Just because someones opinion differs is no reason to chuck a spaz. Said it before, lighten up.

aussi aussi aussie ! oi nice one Bergsmlerg

funny thing is its not even a difference of opinion.. hes so insistent on making a complete knob out of his internet character that hes clear on missed a simple bearing sale and its to to the only guy on this site apart from me whose ever bothered to stick up for him ... mind boggling stuff

I'll shout my support for bushie, and point out another disaffected customer that taffy stated he would remedy but never did. Read here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=10897&p=92606#p92606

Taffy has contributed a lot to this site but he is not the sole oracle of all things berg. He has royally p*ssed off a number of useful contributors to the extent that they no longer post and their knowledge is therefore lost to us. In my view what we have lost unfortunately outweighs what taffy contributes. But what do I know, my post count clearly marks me out as lacking in all things berg

wow i missed a lot here in the past few days
everybodys opinion is important to me, i wish we could ALL just take the high road...i guess i dont even care anymore....

Hi

And now returning to the real thing about this post - FE 600 rod !

First thanks bushie for your bearing cattalogs, I've made some surch myself and will send you a couple that I found.

The rod bearing of the 600 is a 30X38X17.8

You can find the same on the NTN - PK 30X38X17.8 X1

You can also find very close ones, that can be fitted with some skill, on:

INA - KZK 30X38X18
IKO - KT303818 EG
NSK - FWF-303818-E
NBS - KZK 30X38X18
WISECO - B1060

As a curious thing, the bearing is not the same, but the needle rollers are the same of the KTM 525, it might come in hand to someone this info.

Hope it can help someone !

ZAGA

had the people I got the quote from call this morning and ask if interested. but I'm not going to bother starting a new thread about this. so if anyone hears of anyone interested tell em about me but I really needed 6 solid orders and I can't see that happening.

regards

Taffy

No problem Zaga and thank you for the extra bearing catalog info you found, I'm sure anyone needing big end roller info only needs to contact either one of us and we'll send them the relevant PDFs

as the OPs noted a lack of interest... for archival purposes anyone needing a rod could contact carillo and have a one off carburised rod made up for about $320 US, that leaves the pin and bearing which I am told is very similar one of the KTMs or as I mentioned earlier Alpha bearings in the UK are great to deal with .....
