I have two 450s.
If i wanna make one into, say a 570!
What do i need? I know i need The cylinder and pistol.
Cam? Cdi? Top? What do i have to change?
 
From what I understand it's cylinder, piston, cam, top, header, crank, map and clutch springs and you have a fully converted 570. You can skip map change, cam and most probably the top and it will work just fine.
I think the header is longer on 570 compared to 390/450.

Haven't done it myself but there are people in Sweden who has converted 450s to 570s.

If you want to convert it to a 390 I think the only thing you need to change is the crank (less stroke).

At some point I'm going to turn one of My 2011 FE570 into a FS450 (never made) when I do I'll let you guys know. Maybe in a year. The only thing I don't have is a rear crush hub.
 
The cylinder head is same part number 570/450?
So I am sure you could convert a 450 to 570 just using 570 crank (750€ and buy the cyl/piston kit for around 650)
The cam/header/cdi I wouldn't bother sure it will run fine without these I run a 450 map in my 570 so;)

I heard that cam from a 450 works better on a 570 and vice versa! Annons else heard about this

I doubt the 450 cam is better. I have both and the only difference is that the outlet lobe on the 450 is a bit lower and shorter lift. Some say it's more "peaky", but you get less lift during shorter time. The inlet is the same. I haven't done any real comparisons as I don't have a dyno but I have looked at them side by side comparing the two. Without empirical evidence I doubt the benefit and keep using my 570 cam.
 
I have all the parts for switching them minus gaskets. Also extra engine mostly complete another cylinder w/piston and head no cam or lifters. 2 aftermarket 450/390 header pipes FMF & factory titanium. So I'm going to see if it can be done! Oh I also am in the process of buying a 05 FE550 & 07 FE650 both street legal. So that would make 7 yes 7 Husaberg's my fingers are crossed. By the way I'm retired have all time I need but not the money. But it will get done I hope.

Wow, 7. that's awesome. I thought I was doing well with my 4 Husabergs, but you sir have set the bar even higher:)
