I doubt the 450 cam is better. I have both and the only difference is that the outlet lobe on the 450 is a bit lower and shorter lift. Some say it's more "peaky", but you get less lift during shorter time. The inlet is the same. I haven't done any real comparisons as I don't have a dyno but I have looked at them side by side comparing the two. Without empirical evidence I doubt the benefit and keep using my 570 cam.
Hope so to.I have all the parts for switching them minus gaskets. Also extra engine mostly complete another cylinder w/piston and head no cam or lifters. 2 aftermarket 450/390 header pipes FMF & factory titanium. So I'm going to see if it can be done! Oh I also am in the process of buying a 05 FE550 & 07 FE650 both street legal. So that would make 7 yes 7 Husaberg's my fingers are crossed. By the way I'm retired have all time I need but not the money. But it will get done I hope.
