To get neutral....Stopped In 1rst gear, put your foot under the shifter, rev it up just a bit (blip it) and click it in neutral as it's returning to idle. Works like a charm.

Excellent! I'm going to try that.
Thank you, sir.

Just turn the freaken thing off in gear then find neutral.
What do you need to find neutral for anyway?

completely bypassed the issue with a rekluse clutch. recent ride had gates every few km but could just jump off the bike and leave it in gear, or actually hold the gate open with the clutch hand and ride through then hold it for the other riders. magic...

Thanks for the tip of blipping the throttle, I'll try that.

My 11' FE570S has 48hrs on it, and finding N has been a ******.

If that works, I'll owe you a beer! ...but you'll have to come East to collect on it.

Up til now I try to hit neutral while coasting to a stop, but not always possible on the trail. I hate turning the bike off more than I have to, as I've run the battery down before while trying to start it when hot. Although I must admit, the 570 pushes real easy (mile and a half on rough trails out to the truck).

I have exactly the same problem on my 10' 390. I can get N only 2 out of 10 when the engine is on, but 10 out of 10 when i kill the engine. I'll try the above tricks tho.

my Husaberg FE570S felt squirrelly and unstable, as if it wasn't firmly planted on the ground or something. The seat hight had me worried, too, as it has my inseam beat by roughly 9 inches. I've eased myself into a comfort zone by starting out in a grassy field and slowly increasing the difficulty of the riding conditions as my skills and confidence improved. It's worked, and I think I've made considerable progress in both areas.

Hey thanks for this as its excellent advice, the Hussy feels totally unstable at present granted I've just done a bit of road work but I lack the confidence to venture into the realms of off-road. I'll take your advice and try and improve my skills.

Google i2i training. http://www.i2imca.com/OffRoad.asp
We did an offroad weekend up near Thirsk with Dom and the lads, highly recommended.

Also, i noticed that i get the Neutral easier when the bike is still on the move and the motor is running.
