If any of you where Mr KTM, you'd be thought of as daft if you didn't make all your bikes use generic parts where possible. Todays manufactoring world is a difficult one. I think its a smart move, it may just preserve 'HUSABERG' that while longer.
Plus, I think the launch of this new motor in a berg is clever also, if it goes pete-tongue, and berg goes belly up cos no-one buys the bikes, then viola! KTM arnt effected, and carry on producing the same ol design of motor. If it takes off.... its the next SX
I love berg, and its a bit of a crapper that someone can play with the brand so easily, but what can you do. If KTM wanted to phase berg out completly, the doors would be shut by now. Ex-husaberg riders doesnt neccessarily = new KTM riders.
