Faktor,
I think I recall you had some issues with your Berg, so totally understand any pessimism.
I for one though believe that there are very few lemons in the modern dirt bike market. Leaving aside bias for Berg or any other brand, but all models and manufacturers have specific issues. Bikes are after all mechanical beasts, with lots of moving parts, and largely thet cop a hammering.
I think you would agree that manufacturer response is most important, and I believe sincerely that this is where the media machine falls down. The more responsible the manufacturer, and more public they are with the problems, the more flack they cop.
This year is an exciting time for Husaberg, and its followers. I feel the same way as i did with KTM in 98, and look how they have exploded (excuse any unintended pun!!!). I still love the KTM's too, its just that i like the uniqueness of the Berg.
What Sutto is doing with the Berg Demo day is the publicity that i believe hasn't been there over recent years. Never before has Berg recieved the publicity it is currently getting. Two years ago most would not have even heard of the brand. Now it is front cover quite regularly. Here in Oz only two Bergs (that i am aware of) competed in the A4DE, Suttos sponsored rider, and the Factory pilot. I feel good things coming, and for one, am really hoping guys like Sutto and Gunter get rewarded for their long term, and often undervalued, support for the Berg.
Cant wait to see your blinged berg Mickj, carbon fibre and all.
