Yes, if the idle was turned up to compensate.
I know, your probibly pulling your hair out right now, but start with the basics- clean all the jets, check for vacuum leaks, restricted hoses, dirty air filter, float level, etc.
After your satisfied that everythings clean, valves are in spec and have good spark, then start messing with the ac pump & other stuff.
The bike was running ok before, correct?
Heck, it could even be bad gas. I always run chevron high octane. One time I fueled up with the crap gas from the corner station, both our (The boss rides too) bikes ran like crap. Cleaned the carbs on both, went through everything, still ran like crap. Dumped the gas, went back to Chevron- problem solved.
