The other day while out in the depths of Hampshire, my friend broke down and I had to take him on the back of my 650 2002 Berg. It was a bit late when I realised these bikes were only designed for one person. The rear frame looks ok, has anyone else every bent a frame going 2 up ?

Worried Lloyd.

Hi,

I can't imagine! These bikes are very stiff and made to resist the hardest shockes in a track. I assume you easy while riding with two person's on it?

I would be very suprised if this will affect the frame of the bike.

Hello Proemer,

I was taking it welll easy while riding with two persons. The suspension was not even fully compressed either. I have inspected the sub frame but was just worried.

Lloyd.

ps. I have been to Amsterdam a few times, my girlfriend is from Den Hague (Mariahoeve) I like Holland..
I can't speak Dutch though.

Hi,

what are you worried about? I don´t think that you damaged your frame,
even the sub frame is very enduring or let me call it stable.
You said the suspension wasn´t fully compressed, so I can´t imagine that the steel
has overcome its elastic condition.
I´ve often thrown my bike upon a steep bent on its backside and the frame isn´t damaged.

best regards

hribman

You could start a new class of freestyle MX. Call it the "Big Air with Pillion"!! :D
