Here's a nice little '97 FE501 I picked up earlier this year. It was disassembled for a complete rebuild but then the owner passed away. So, some assembly required.
Interestingly, this one was California plated as part of the rebuild process. The ability to convert a dirtbike to street use went away here in California back in 2003 so that tells you how long it's been sitting around.
Came with a bunch of cool parts such as the SPES exhaust, an under-seat tank and a full Baja Designs dual sport kit.
If I'm not mistaken, this was the third bike off the line in '97?
As of yet, I have not named this bike.
