1198 cylinder

Thought you already had the numbers in? You were estimating??

already have those numbers ;)
the engine has run for more than 20 hours , it's now on the workbench for mods ( cylinder head sealing !!) , it would be back in the frame soon ;)

So whats the reason you wont share the setup or dyno graphs??
Out of 20 hours at least one should have been from the dyno?
Or you never dynoed it then? You just made it bigger cc and calculated a factor from oem numbers, that would explain.

141Nm per litre sounds totally unobtainable still.
The VE is what I reacted at and still is unobtanium.
705/1 is 1,41 -> 141Nm per litre.

113Nm/litre is really high at the rear wheel N/A, realise that.
141 per liter needs super charging.

Well that has got rid of those pesky water ways.

The bore diameter is equal to the inside dia of the inserts.

Had to take 0.2mm off the top to clean up look as if the aluminum is loosing
hardness in the hotter regions and has collapsed a bit.

2001 650 cranksshaft nearly got "destroyed" in transit but that is another story ;) pictured with a 100mm 628 piston cause it was lying around doing
nothing.

70mm stroke needs to go on a diet!
4mm shorter rod will be going on I think.

If anyone knows the compression height and weight of a 1290 piston?
Would like to know.

Big Thanks to Idle for hooking me up.

- TomTom might have access to that kind of knowledge, right?

Also asking over on ducati.ms might work! Very varied technical competence there - from guys with money who don't want to know anything, to some pretty knowledgeable people. (Do check out EIGHTfortyEIGHT's builds! Those are actual builds!)
