08 FE450 Clutch question

I think it's a good question!

I have a 2007, and there is apparently no 2007 owner's manual, at least not available for download from Husaberg.

The 2005 manual is as close as I can get. It says never to refill with mineral hydraulic oil. The cover has words cast into the aluminum to only use mineral oil.

Have to ask the boss next time I phone in my weekly order.

I have a 08 450 and the same problem finding
neutral after stopping. I found if I rev the motor a little just to stop it from stalling, begin to release the clutch while applying pressure to the gear lever it pops into neutral easy.

I never worry about finding neutral. If I cant get it first go, I leave it in first and hit the kill switch. If I really need neutral I will then select it with the engine off. Most times I leave it in 1st, pull the clutch, hit the starter and take off, roosting the people still trying to start thier bikes and find the gears.

This is what I have done on the 04 since new and now the 08 450 Berg. Yes the clutch will drag when it is cold, they do that when the engine and the oil is cold. As the engine oil heats up things become better. If the clutch will not release when it is hot, then you have problem with the clutch needing bleeding.
