'06 tail vlight and number plate holder

i llok forward to someone with an '06 telling me whether an '06 tail light unit will fit retro?

i'm sick and tired (that's two things!) of trying to melt one of those bloody acerbis thingys to fit!

let us know troops please?

I've just bought myself a 2005 FE450E and that number plate holder is ugly and has got to go.

Are you saying that finding a smaller "competition" part that fits is not easy. I've seen the 2006 pictures and that's just what I need too.

Has anyone tried a KTM one?

Although very sano and svelte, the new 06 light assy will not bolt directly to the 05 and older frame rails. Two horzontal tabs are utilized and as my 05 6 day bike had the tabs welded on, I don't see why someone as handy as yourself could not do the same.

Just take the old coal shovel off and get a
Honda CR450x tailight.They mount on top
of the fender and are real sano.

Bling, Bling, that's what we heard a lot of in Reno at the Supermotoagogo. However I am mistaken about the 06 taillight assy, which will attach to the std mounting back to 00 models. Sorry for the confusion. So you can bling your bike out with a sano 06 taillight assy.

I could not find an on line translator that
converts American to English.Sano was
a slang derivative of sanitary (clean, unclutt-
ered,noncontaminated.) You would probably
say something like ,It makes the bike look
natty.Are you cockahoop now?

i have both the 2005 and 2006 bikes here,side by side and i cant see any reason that the new tailight would not fit.my eyes are not as good as they used to be but the frame and fender look the same to me.dan.
