well, I don't know about you guys, but I think that one was almost too close for comfort. One of these days someone outside the circle of trust is eventually going to buy a Berg, and what will we do then? Our incestuous little group will be tainted by an outsider.

I'm deffo begg'n to get worried that the time is coming where we're no longer going to be able to control the resale of the bikes. We're going to have to resort to making them even more ugly, and resort to cutting completely through the crank, as opposed to only halfway, which is our current method of preparation for resale.

thanks,

Schwim, now I understand the flames and the red rear number plate.

KTM will have to resort to adding velours on the handles and what else to make the Bergs less competitive next year.

I didn't want to say anything, but I've been in contact with the dev team, and although I can't give it all away, I can give you a taste of what you'll see next year:

Two words- "Pink" and "streamers"....

That's all I can say right now.

thanks,

Can we get a banana seat and playing cards in the spokes for that "authentic" motorcycle sound?

Yammys are good bike but a YZ 250 and a Fe 501 aren't exactly the same category, but somehow I am convinced he made the right choice. Him and the Yammy will surely merge perfectly.

Next he needs to stop by FMF, Boyesen, Baja design and all these people who make all these aftermarket parts you find stock on a Berg.

Maybe so froggy, but odds are he won't be using a sig like yours anytime soon :)

Hmm I also have a WRF 250 in my garage with a carburetor I can't figure out why won't idle. Yes, I took it apart and cleaned it up really good.

BUT I can take it to someone to fix, since that someone will say "Sure, I can fix the Yamaha".

BUT I would not have had the same mechanical failure, since it happens from me adjusting the valves, something that is a lot harder to do on a Yamaha, and that I would not do myself.

As for the gear selector incident, I doubt that Yamahas don't develop minor issues like that one after thousands of miles.

you seem touchy on this subject sir, so I will leave you to your thoughts.... and tools.

thanks,

LOL no I am not touchy, just stating the facts. There's not one vehicle that does not end having some sort of mechanical failure over time.

Japanese and European bikes alike. The WRF was a great bike until the carby started acting all "********" as the kid says.

Adjusting the valves with shims is something I would not touch with a 10-foot pole.

Our friend here bought a 250 2 stroke, he will not have to deal with all the 4-stroke related maintenance woes, good for him, as long as you like the hit, mixing the gas, the "ting ting ting" noise and can deal with the lack of range, you can only like a 2-stroke.
