Just saw the new 2010's at my dealer....nice!!
Yes they have lights and spark arrestors....sweet.
Supposed to be Calif green sticker as well, at least thats what they said.

I just did the first oilchange for my 2010 FE450 - easy. Everything is accessible and minimal mess.
My first impression after 2 hours riding are: Awesome suspension and handling is phenomenal for a 250lb, 450cc bike.
I can't wait to twist the throttle all the way after a few more hours of break in.

The bike arrived a week ago and I picked it up on the weekend. :D

Color

Got my 2010 FE 450 today. Excited? Yes. Viagra is blue and so are Husabergs. Coincidence? I think not.....

awesome

Ive got the 09 fe 450 and I'm still so impressed by the bike i cant see myself on anything else........but i am curious as to how much better the triple clamps with 22mm off set make what is already a superb motorcycle
i ran mine in for the full 12 hours and did 3 oil changes it's sweet as pie 45 hours and i'm still on the same brake pads the only dark side is the price of replacement parts....IE a full set of plastics will set you back Ł156

Checking the valves after 3 hrs of operation.
Who has done it? Were the valves in speck? Or did you have to shim?
I'm picking my bike up in the morning. The dealer is in the middle of single track heaven. I want to ride for a day or two. I can manage all the maintance trail side. But I would rather not have to change valve shimes.

checked it twice, after 10 hrs and after 70. all good both times.

Thanks, I don't mind checking them road side. But I would not be looking forward to changing out shims.

glad to see someone is actually riding these bikes. I ride 300+ hrs/yr, so low maintenance and reliability are important to me.

Looking forward to trying a 2010 at the force ride.

I have a ton of miles on mine and all i have done is oil and filter and clean the air filter. The 2010's have brake light switches on them stock! Front and rear! AWSOME!

so when the dude from algarve offroad says he's got an fe 450 with 15000 klm and 375hrs on the clock you just know that your purchase was the correct one i luv my berg not as much as the wife though

My local Dealer - Bairnsdale KTM - is off to a Husaberg Dealers Conference next weekend.

Hopefully the 2010 models will be available soon after. When he went to the Conference last year, he brought a demo FE450 home with him and the new models were available very soon after.

Dealer in Lilydale was pulling two bikes out of box on Saturday that had been air freighted from Sweden and heading to the conference on Friday this week

Yeah well the word from the Aussie distributer here in WA is that the 390's are here Sept but the 450 and 570 (the one I am waiting for) aren't due until November. My dealer is of to Vic this weekend for the launch but still recons November is the go. :( Not fair.... I want my Berg NOW!

Here is one I 'prepared' earlier.. taken at Valley Force Husaberg Lilydale.

I can confirm that the 2010 FE450/570s will NOT be here in Australia until November.

I went to my Dealer(Bairnsdale KTM) today to see what was going on. They were preparing a FE390 and a FX450 - both very nice bikes - but not what I wanted to see. We discussed the possibility of getting a FE390 now or waiting for two (very long) months for the FE450.

I must admit that I am in bit of a quandary. The FE390 sounds like a great bike and one I'm sure I would enjoy immensely but I have been lusting over the FE450 for more than a year now. I am also sure I will enjoy riding this immensely as well.

Must do a bit more thinking!!

i've done some searching, how loud are these bikes? 96+db?
i'm currently trying to figure out how to buy a 2010!
