First I washed it out in some grass and it was layed over for a littel while.

Then I went fore some deep water crossings

So I tried to hop a log and only made it with the front wheel and the exaust pipe hit the log kind of hard. It was a double log about a foot off the ground so the front wheel didn't touch the ground.

Then I went fore a huge moutain trail full of shail rock and it boiled over. (The huge saddle across the vally in some of my pics)

The oil was low and realy black , the exaust pipe is still on there nice and tight but you can kind of see a littel blueing. There is a just a bit more metal on the screan then I would like to see (non magnetic).

I want to just change the oil and call it good and it needs alittle
coolent.

All I can find is an exaust leak on the upper header to the Y pipe.

Should I add engine ice to the light green that is in there ?
I know its been on here a few times, the blue/green mix.
Should I bother with the exaust leak ?

Not touching the suspention, the fork drop works.

Realy, should I add some blue to the green ?
I know it's maybe a YES, but I need to hear it again.

If you haven't changed the coolant since it was new, now would be a good time.

Just use some regular old pre mixed prestone-green.

I don't like engine ice or the blue stuff. If it's engine Ice, pick a bottle off the shelf and tilt it to one corner and look at all the white stuff that piles up there, that's silica. I don't think that's too good to be whirring around in your system. And since it's heavier than the coolant where do you think it's going to end up? In the water pump.

Be sure and bleed the system with the little 6mm screw next to the spark plug, that's really important.

It won't hurt to mix the coolants.

I have a little engine ice and I see that white stuff. I will change the coolant when I get new tires on friday.
Till then I'm adding the ice.

Thank You

I have used the Maxima Coolanol blue fom the beginning. No problems, never
boiled over and I don't have a fan.
Seems to work fine for me and it's been in the hot desert over 100 many times.

Pollo

At high elevations you might use coolant recover tank (CRT). I had it happen after a long up hill rock garden were had a use lot clutch to stop wheel spin.
