Sagar going husaberg - confirmed

had it from 2 sources today, one of which says it is from the horses mouth that Tom Sagar will be riding an '09 husaberg under teh mid-west racing banner.

he's been twice and is reigning british overall enduro champion.

3rd in junior WEC in 2007

8th in senior E1 Class in 2008 having lost 2 races with bike problems.

would seem that after a rather lacklustre 2008 seaon, which wasnt all his own fault, with the factory KTM team he's been dropped and has alledgedly picked up a deal with husaberg.

this is not official at the moment but there will be an announcement soon

TOM SAGAR IS BLUE AND YELLOW

HI,

Im toms best mate and do spannering for him as well, i can confirm he will ride
husaberg contract waiting to be finalised.Tested 450 last week was really
impressed thinks it has lots of race potential, 570 being tested as we speak.
Looks like 09 will be husaberg support ride will ride WEC,BEC, and select extreme
events as well as mx and GBXC etc...

Tom wants it more than ever in 09 so fingers crossed you'l see the bike up there
with the best, he cant wait to get back on big machinery again as it suits his smooth
flowing style more than a little aggressive bike.

He's also after sponsorship for next year with plenty of promotional opportunities
open to anyone wishing to support him, i can send out a motorcycle CV for him
and also the promotional options he can offer. Also a new website will be up and running soon.

By the way he is still only 22! full gas tommy!!!!!

Is it you that has had a few ex factory ktm bikes up for sale in oswestry on ebay?

No thats the ''GEEK'' as we all call him, he buys ktm's off the factory mx teams to sell, me a tom just hang out go riding, work on bike setup etc...

Tom's non and grandad know me as sam but everyone else calls me sconhead, (long story)

If anyone has any contact with the distributor, press releases are always immediately posted in the news section on the front page. The US distributors have always historically taken advantage of this, while none of the other distributors have opted to.
