hi all my 02 burg wiill turn over to a point and will them stop as if i does not hav enough power in starter is this a common fault in this model is starter weak any suggestion would be appreciated cheers

sounds like the decomp is AWOL. look at a later spring and decomp. then you have the whole startring issue which comes down to 10 different things being right!

valve timing
kistart - taff crescent mod
correct timing
tappet clearances
jetting
type and age of plug
any one of them COULD be your problem. technique is another underrated problem coz you're not going to admit that it's YOU!!!!

Pretty common problem - you could do a search thru the other million threads on this or you could check your auto decomp and valve clearances.
Auto decomp needs to have about 1mm lift.
I'm assuming that the battery and all electrical connections etc are good of course.

mine is exactly the same. iv now ditched the lights indicators battery starter motor and all the other voodo known as electrics
