try anouther flasher they're pretty cheap and ya can alwayse use a spare if thats not the issue.

ps car flasher should fit and should be about $6au

Id verify all bulbs are the same pn & manufacture.Should be able to verify system voltage with a analog volt meter.A good digital would work also. Hard to assist much without knowing what you have already done ,sorry.

Basically the indicators have replaced with mini ones
(not me)!Ive checked the switch gear, ive tried bypassing wiring to the rear flashers
.ive taken direct feeds from two wires coming from flasher unit.I havent went right in to test the wiring i thought, hoped someone might have had this problem, but any suggestions would much appreciated, will try another flasher unit asap!

If you have mini leds you need to install a resistor on the bulb. Problem is a lack of resistance which would slow down the flasher. Digital flashers are avialable. If I was to guess on the size of the resistor I'd be wrong but the info on led resistance is out there.

sorry to be technical but that would be a capacitor, resistors are measured in ohms.

duh well its for sure i cant think & type. You sir are correct I will correct my post

Re: RE: Re: RE: indicator flashing too quick help please!

If the total wattage being used is under or higher than what it says on the flasher unit then the bulbs will either flash to slow or in your case to quick.

Sparks.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: indicator flashing too quick help please

You could also have a varying resistance in the ground side of the circuit (like a corroded connection somewhere). A diffferential in one side over the other will cause an uneven flash rate too.

Good point. I had a 1987 F-250 that when I purchased the cruise control had issues. The fellow that I bought it from had replaced the L-Rear turn signal bulb with the wrong one and each time you turned left the cruise would drop out. Pisser on the freeway for a lane change. Off the subject of bikes but related to the bulb issue.

RE: Re: RE: indicator flashing too quick help please!

Someones,s suggested a possible chaffed wire on the right side will have to check that and all bulbs etc fingers crossed!!!
