Hello All
I have recently purchased a 2006 fe450 husaberg, the mechanics and support structure i.e. suspension and such are A1 and it goes like a rocket. However the electrics are not so good, my headlight and rear lights do not work , am missing my rear turn lights and the connections are broken. I also have a flat battery.
I thought i would start by replacing my battery first however i have quickly learnt that a husaberg is unlike anything i have seen before. Am a beginner when it comes to fixing my own bike. Ive detached the rear shock but am afaid thats as far as i have got. The battery seems stuck in place i see no bolts to lossen it any further. Am not sure if its been modified before i purchased it but it looks like a solid box, there is a bracket attaced to the box which seems to do very little other than hold a brakeline in place. But to remove the nut would mean removing parts of my rear brake assembly?
The bracket in the photo attaches to the battery box and also the frame, however this is a long bolt and in order to push it through i would have to disassemble the rear brake setup. Any advice would be very appreciated
Cheers Ben
