Hi, about a year ago my timing chain broke because a nut from the valve adjustment unskrewed itself and fell into the chain.
This happend in low speed/ 1gear. It was ’’easy’’ start at this time.
Just finished changing exhaust valve and mounting a new timing chain, tensioner, headgasket etc.
Got it started yesterday but it seems to get very hot. Both the coolant and the oil, from just 1-2minutes of idling.
It runs great, no bad noises or somthing. Not much smoke from the exhaust.
Im not sure I got the timing right, can this be the cause? Would i even get it started with bad timing?
I feel it has more compression than before. Got it started twice on the kick (30 kicks or so) , the third time i just towed it, but it needs to be in 4 or 5 gear to not lock the wheel but it starts right up.
Anyone had similar problem?
