Not a pic thread, but here's a lovely and in-depth build of a Ducati Sport 1000: Sport Classic Project Bike - Ducati.ms - The Ultimate Ducati Forum

full-out motor build! very nice work

I will never forget seeing my first SportClassic in TRON and from that moment on I had to have one. I was in a position to buy one last year until I had to spend that money rebuilding my parent's Toyota Landcruiser. Prices here in Australia range from about $10k AUD up to $20k AUD. Difference being the Paul Smart replicas are $20k plus and over the last year values appear to have increased. I'm torn between exactly which model but kind of have a preference for one with fairings.

Not going to happen this year! In fact, I just bought this to tide me over until the Duc becomes a reality:

Here's a marque with unique history and links to our beloved Husaberg. A truely exotic bit of kit and quite collectable now. Absolutely gorgeous....

*wolf whistle*

i have a big soft spot for Vertemati / VOR. Incidentally VOR means 'spring' in my language. Plus they were green. The joke is that when one of the very few VOR riders show up for a ride then "VORið er komið", spring is here, ha-ha

That's great tourist :) I always wanted a VOR530. The eccentric thing just works for me. I always admired how my mates Yamaha started so easily and did everything so damn well but that's just a bit bland for me hey.....
