I aspire to your skill and your perserverence. How cool is it that you you make substantial changes, grind all kinds of stock things up, and still . . . it runs. You have no idea how cool that is for some of us that, even with 1 on 1 stock replacement can't get things in line. Thanks for the thread. Bothe education and inspiration!

Oh! Thou great wizard from down under,
You see everyone accuses you of wizardry:D:D
Well it's true, that you can make from nothing, everything that you invent!!!

Grtz Rens

p.s. what's the size of youre head? Because with such great ideas it must be very BIG:D:D

have been trying to get mud and charcoal and ash and scratches on it. 3 hour trail ride today chasing up the ignition point of last sundays bush fire, found it 4ks from my place.

found 3 things; 1st gear works very well, I have created a submarine and top gear WOT on the beach with 16/45 never ever gets old.

my other bike has conked out in deep water a few times from water getting in the little hole at the bottom of the kokusan cover, this one wolf nuts one is tight as a fishes arse, front mud guard was well under a few times

crappy phone pic of Paradise on my doorstep

Hey Bushie,
Well if i may believe it, the bike is spot on?
Good to hear that so far all is well mate.
In the meantime i just can look at my Berg, may do nothing, like heavy right now, etc.
Well some stupid comments at the forum is the best at the moment:D:D

Grtz Rens

p.s.just missing someone in the photo:D

Hi Rens

the bike works OK

engine is good, but lame compared to the 700

also by comparison it weighs 14 kgs more, is top heavy and the shock is terrible :D

but for old farts trail riding expeditions it is perfect LOL

i will sort the shock out eventually.

can you manage a trip to Amsterdam ..window shopping?

that is a crazy place to navigate around in a 5 series BMW without a map :D

Hi Bushie

Saw your exhaust and thought of sharing my exhaust build also, hope you don't mind.

Here it goes the story board.

Cheers
ZAGA

nice job Zaga! that is a proper straight through for sure

been pointed out by a few blokes who know me that there are far to many shiny bits on the new bike

maybe this is more like it :D bit of surface rust already after yesterdays beach run

tt600 kickstarter after a bit of angle grinding and mixed mechanical violence

don't think this one is gonna break!

the splines are the same as berg just gotta grind it and weld the split shut then turn the right hand lever into a left hand lever.

note 18x1.5 bung ready to weld in for the wego O2 sensor

Nothing wrong being mad max style , good to be different.
Welcome to the thunder DOME.... let the fight begin.. lol

Did u had a post on ur big 7 bush ? Engine
Or was the post part of it balancing sumthing crank?
Reason I ask just wondering wat did u do get to 700 ? Stroke, bore to max ? Or different cylinder altogether,
Cams, high comp piston ?

Good Job zaga ...
Did mind on other post bush put url up couple post back

Hey Bushie,
What's that about the shock? I thought you didn't replace the woodstick for the shock:D
But in your last post i see different!
And the weight of 14 kgs? Is that rider or bike weight!:D
But i think Tourist is right about beeing a bit spoiled:)
Well about A'dam i think that the Beemer 5 series will be a problem:(, we could take a witch broom:p But as non smoker we could always drink coffee overthere in a certain shop:D:smoker:
And what's with the navigation?do you really need a map? No bro, certainly not!!
We would be so drunk that our "internal navigation"would fail any way:D:D

Grtz Rens

p.s.I should at least mention that ZAGA pays attention at the wizardlessons:D
Nice job ZAGA love it!

Re the 700

engine:

Frame:

http://husaberg.org/suspension/12779-bushmechanic-frame-build-pics-stuff.html

In Amssterdams Rens I found a one way street neukirkistraat i think .. it was one way on the north side of a creek and aftr crossing a bridge with trolls underneath it was one way in the other direction to the south of the creek you're right no map or alcohol required !

the weight difference is mostly frame and tubes/tyres, ohlins shock is lighter and a few other bits but if you look close you can see a lot of other extra **** on the heavy one that is not needed .. ... airbox, speedo, regulators/wiring light, steering damper etc

Hi Bushie,

Wish I could build stuff that quick Bushie but I seem to get tied up in the detail too much I suspect:(

Anyway how does it run with that lighter crank? interested of coarse if it makes much difference or should I try the lighter flywheel as well? as we have only removed around 10% so far.

Been studying the laser/electron beam welding scenarios for welding crank pin into the flywheels and it still not ideal for carburised parts, nothing is it seems, But may be helpful in other crankshaft designs.

Cheers spanner
