The e start can be cleared (had this previously on my SM)
But you will have to remove the leak line from the underside of the carb, and remove the piece of alu the leak line was mounted on.

Hi Zaga (and others)

Yesterday a mate of me gave me an aluminium airbooth adapter for the FCR-MX.
I had 2 holes drilled in it for the air jets on the back of the carb.

He said it was for the Honda XR bikes, and very little material has to be machined (or filed) of the back of the carb to make it fit.

It is a aftermarket part, but i havent found it on any webshop yet. Will post a pic of it this evening.

The belmoth seems the same, but how are you going to bolt it to the carb ??
Or are yours not bolted ??

Mine is from Taff, I just had to make some modificatios, I will post pics latter.

Only now I went to my garage to take some pics, they are of very poor quality..but with good intention.

I don't know if your FCR is like mine, but I think this is a very good clean solution and not so expensive.

I'm still waiting to have time to make the inlet to the cilinder :angry: so I can finaly use the carb.

Hi Zaga, thanks for the pics

Your FCR is different than mines, i dont have a bellmouth wich is detachable.
It is a solid one piece on the carburettor.

Will post pics when i fitted the bellmouth.

Hi Elsonoro

I was thinking of buying the inlet to the head from Germany but they charge me the same amount of transport as for the part, so I'm thinking of making one.
Your pics are great but the I can't tell very well the dimensions, and I don't know but I imagine that the inlet could have a little upper curve so it clears better the e-start ???, could you make me a hand drawing of your inlet with the dimensions ?
