Header wrap and Reflective tank lining
Can anyone recommend some brand names (and deminsions) of header wraps and reflective lining for my 2010 FE570 fuel tank and header? I think I may be having fuel boiling problems, the bike coughs at low RPM's sometimes and dies, also had an episode where it wouldn't start for about 15 minutes... -

Aussie fe650 - exhaust wrap or heat shield
Guy guys, Need some advice. I currently have a 05 fe650 fitted with standard pipes. I am finding that Im burning holes in the leg of my pants on the header pipe. Exhaust Wrap
I got tired of melting my riding pants on the hot pipe of my '05 FE550e and wrapped the headers and mid-pipe with a 1" x 50' roll of black exhaust wrap. It took 14' of wrap to do the right side header and 31' to do the left side and mid-pipe. Then you cure the material with engine heat and spray... -

Exhaust wrap.
I burned a hole thru my pants on the first ride on my 08 FE450 :( . I would like to wrap my pipe to keep the heat off my leg/boot and the carb. I've never wrapped a pipe and was wondering how to do it right. Also if you leave it on long will it destroy the finish?
