I'm reassembling the gearbox on my 2002 650 and there is a washer that was between the input shaft and the bearing on the clutch side(inside the cases), this is not shown on the husaberg parts manual so It has either been put there in error on a previous rebuild, a modification to stop the shaft...

thats what it sounds like as i go along on a steady throttle in the higher gears. this 04 650E has 05 cam chain. chain guide, tensioner mod, the light rattle seems to be coming from the top end. on inspection of the rockers, cam , bearings , all was good. valves have correct clearance, look at...
