This is hard to admit but might save someone from a long walk I know you should not ride along but I do sometimes Today I had a 12 mile walk out of the desert to my truck. I could drive to within 2 miles of the bike . It took as long to 4 wheel to the bike as it did to walk out, rough terrain...
