hey lads need your help again. i'm just after a new rebound tap. in my old parts book it part no 4860.0025 the thread was stripped on the post & the delta shims were doing the hoola hoop thing. i re-threaded it to a 5mm down from a 6mm. guess what happened ...not enough meat on the hollow...

Need a left hand fuel tap if anyone has one for a 2004 FE450. I'm in UK. There is one on Ebay but its off a 501, would I be right in saying they are the same? Pete.

hello all, need a bit of help wiv me fuel tap its leaking around where the tap kions the tank it seems that the previous owner has over tightened the screws and stripped the threads and now they don't pull it up tight enough on the little rubber gasket o ring thingy. any ideas on how to fix it...

is the screw in tap on the left side of the tank a reserve? manual says if it's screwed in no fuel will flow to the card, but it flows just fine closed, so i'm thinking it's a reserve deal...

Guys, I've been reading the threads about running with both taps open. Maybe this question is stupid, but realize this is my first 'Berg. Why couldn't one run with one tap open, then when/if bike runs low on fuel, shut that tap & open the other one? How would the carb know the difference...

just wondered if anyone has fitted those cool ktm fuel taps that you twist from underneath? i'd love one on the left especially but i should think it would hit the frame. regards Taffy

For the summer months it is understood that pure water cools better than an antifreeze/water mix. But should distilled water or tap water be used. I have read that distilled water is more corrosive to aluminum than tap water but tap water tends to leave deposits. Is anybody running pure water...
