Taking delivery of a FE 501 next week and there have been some reports of the plastic strap not putting enough pressure on the sealing surface and the motor sucking dirt. We all know this isn't good for motor life. What have current owners observed regarding this potential problem?

Good morning, Is anyone using a strap running through the Subframe ''handles'' for easier lifting of the bike out of ruts, bogs ect, and is it easier than using those resesed handles? Thanks in advance, Sav
