Can anyone tell me why my electric starter slows or stops if I put the choke on or open the throttle at all? Its an 03 FE400e. It turns over quickly without the choke or throttle and immediately stops or slows down to a crawl when I apply the choke or throttle. Mike Pittsburgh,Pa USA

Using soft mode on the map switch during most enduro riding (and having rekluse) the problem i have is that the bike tends to just pop and stop and with the rekluse it won`t restart by rolling. The problem isn`t there when using std mode. Is there any cure ? Is anyone else having this issue...
