I want to soften my high speed compression dampening and I believe the way to do this is to remove shims from the compression valve assembly, can I remove the compression valve from the bottom of the fork or do I need to dissassemble the forks or...... ??

My forks seem to compress and rebound poorly when unridden but after a short ride they loosen up and feel better. Any ideas ? It sort of feels as if the seals are to tight. I have tried loosening the axle and making sure everyting is lined up nice. They just don't feel plush like some other...
The clutch lever on my '94 fc600 is hella tight, after a ride my left hand feels like I've been sqeeze gripp'n all day. The cable is fine, I thought I read a post about using springs or other clutch parts off a 501 :?:
my rear suspension on my fc550-02 is way to stiff ,its the damping. dont know what to do, i´ve set the damping to be as light as possible, but its still to hard, what should i do? the damper does this "sucking" noise when its on the way up againg after compressing it. should i get it refilled...
