hey, i think the fuel tank is limiting the turn radius on the 650, i have the 11 or 12L thank im not sure if its 11 or 12. but i read somewhere that there is a 7,5 liter tank too ?
so does anyone know where i can get a smaller tank for my 07 650? if there are any
thanks.
The Reason I'm asking is because my bike rattles, haven't herd that sound from other Husabergs but most of
them are 450 and one 550 which has the whistle (turbo) sound.
The rattle seems to come from the spraque area of the clutch cover.

Anybody interested, if so let me know. So we can exchange full details. Dont think I'm quite ready for the almighty 550 just yet. Bike is in Excellent condition, with many extras.
Hi all,
I'm a Belgian supermoto rider and I recently bought a FS650E form 2007.. It's my first berg so I hope I don't have to believe all those horror stories..
Right now I still use my 10,5l tank but that's way too much between my legs as I used to race 450's.. Is it only me or are they...
Hej.
Does the smaller tank from Fc fit to an 501 -99 or is there a smaller tank at all to the -99 modell?
Has anyboby converted from old (-99) plastic to the -00 plastic and tank on an -99 bike?
With best regards
Jampe
As I have removed the starter assembly (paper weight), I'd also like to replace the battery with a smaller model, and to relocate it under the seat.
Basically I need it to run the lights as well as a GPS V Garmin unit.
What do you recommend I use to hold the battery under the seat and what...
A while back Fryguy said that a plastic version of the Omero alloy tank was coming in November/06. Any news on this tank? Fuel range is not a big issue but the width of the stock tank is.
I have a 1999 FX501 set up as a motard and think I'd prefer a "regular" tank without the extension that my bike has. Any general guidelines on what other model/year tanks would work on this bike; and if I can use the seat it has or need to change ot also to match the tank?
thanks,
Walter
Who thinks that Berg should be concentrating on bringing a smaller bike to the market? I think that a FE300E would be an awesome machine. The latest crop of 250 thumpers are super bikes if they had just a little more grunt, hence the 300cc idea.
More and more guys are giving up on the 450...
