I can't find the posts, but I've seen where people were asking about a replacement front brake slide pins (ktm doesn't offer it) i ordered Honda #45131-166-016 . It fit. The threads are a tiny bit shorter, but the rest is the same.
Just noticed that one of the slide 'wheels' is different to the rest?
The one on the right is different and been told is correct for this carb. I have 3 wheels at 18.7mm and one at 18.3mm, will this make any difference?
Many thanks
just spent 5 hrs retrofitting a new PHM 40 that i got off of fleebay onto my 96 FC 600. I hope its jetted close? What pain in the @ss!! Had modify cable, make an adapter to air box, and mount external choke. now i see why it came with the flat-side dellorto. the PHM is a little longer about a...

I had Lineaweaver tune the inside jetting for my Dellorto 02' FE501E last week to 7K-10K feet (good job Dale!). But I should have had Dale "baseline" the carb cutaway slide and outside screws too for this...
If I'm reading page 63 of the '05 parts manual correctly, it appears that the USA-market '05 FS650e does not come with the throttle slide stop, so there is nothing to remove to de-restrict the engine's horsepower. Am I understanding this correctly?
Hello all,
Broke my throttle cable this weekend. Checking out the 89-96 parts manual, and they specify from 89-91 a round slide cable, and from 92- a flat slide carb. Didn't bergs always use the PHM38 with the round slide?? I'm confused. I know I have a round slide, and am not worried...
As discussed at the Force Ride, we have assembled all the pictures (approximately 500) that everyone took at the Force Ride into cd's. We then took the best of the pictures (approximately 90) and made a slide show.
Also, on day 3 of the ride, I rode with some local Utah guys and we made a...
