I suspect that this head has warped, it's one I cooked last year when i lost all my coolant. To test it I covered the mating surfaces with engineering blue and scraped it off with a straight edge, not that accurate I know but did the trick. I found low points directly above the exhaust ports...

i stripped my motor and then put the spigot back in the cases. tightened them up and sent the 'engine' off to the motor engineers. they're very good normally but they "howled" that the spigot wasn't sat level with the top of the case. the job couldn't be done! question; how do you...
