skidplate

Hi Fellows Berg owners, I've not found any thread about where to buy 2007 FE 550 skid plate in Europe, can anybody give me a piece of advice, I'm riding in Iceland and my bottom is being assaulted by gravel, stones, sand and everything in between :Þ

Hi I'm looking at getting a skidplate for my 2005 fs650e. my question is does a skidplate for a fe501 1996-1999 fit onto my bike, the frames look very similar. any help would be appreciated.

Hi all, put a Hyde skidplate on my 08 550 recently and have a feeling the bike runs hotter now. Does anybody have overheating issues with this skidplate? Have you tried drilling a few holes into it to improve airflow around the motor? Thinking about that and would like to hear some opinions...

I have an 09 FE450 and I am considering putting on a different skid plate with a little more coverage. I am not a big fan of aluminum skid plates. The Hyde Racing skid plate looks like a good option. Has anyone mounted one of these on an 09/10 and if so what do you think of it. p.s. For...

Well, when I bought my FE650 today, I also got a "White Brothers" aluminum skidplate. I thought it was made by Berg (I think Berg owns them?), but it doesn't fit worth a damn and will take quite a bit of fabricating to make it right....which you really shouldn't ever have to do on a new part...
