Hi,
My 2007 FE550 currently has Metzeler MC5's on it
It has an 80/100 on the front and a 110/100 on the back.
I was wondering what tyre size came stock on the 07 as 110 on the back seems rather narrow, what is the widest I can run? And is wide better?
I want to get it road registered in VIC...
I just bought a new counter shaft seal kit "to fix some leaking oil" and would like to swap out the front sprocket at the same time for the SM setup. Was wondering what gearing everyone was using when they covert the Fe's?
Also, like I said I bought this Kit P#"00050000941" but it comes with...
What is the difference in size of the a b and c pistons. I need a new piston due to a worn wrist pin. Bore is clean, no damage, looks to have about .0005"/.012mm wear in the fwd to aft axis of the cylinder. Well within limits.
I need a 92mm piston, however, not sure which one.
What is the...

I want a pair of crosser tyres for a friend for Xmas but don't know what size he needs. Can anyone help? I think they might be 130/80 18 rear and 90/90 21 front. Is that right?
Any recommendations on pure off road tyres?
Thankyou in advance :)

I have to have new connection rod, but brand new costs 500$ or 402 Euros.
I want to buy replacement conrod or maybe used, but i don't know...
I've just looked at the rear sprocket size on my fs 650 to fin it's a 44t hence the mad wheelies everywhere! With no top end.

I use in on the road and live in the countryside so best of both...
Just thinking about going to a 120/70/17 series tyre rather than a 120/60/17 anyone using a 70?
Whats everyone running?
seen spec on 2005 model says 60 series yet 2008 model say 70 series.
Any thoughts welcome.
Hey guys, Husaberg n00b here (not a bike n00b). I'm after a bit of info on FEs and the engines, hopefully you lot can help.
I'm planning to put a rotax 654 engine (bored out to at least 720) into an FE frame. I know it would fit into an FE650 frame. They're fairly hard to find over here for...

Ok this should be an easy one for you Berg gurus, (although I have SEARCHED everywhere to find it). WHat does the stock 2008 tank hold? What does the aluminum race tank hold? I have both, bike used for GNCC racing. I only have an hour meter on it and want to get an idea how far I might get it I...
i have a '00 head here and the valves are tiny compared to later. looks like 32/27.
anyone know what the valve sizes were in the 501/600? trust it would fit?
what do we know about the std systems? i trust the 501/600 had bigger headers but all shared the rear section?

Taffy

After searching this excellent...
