Just bought a 2005 fs650 dmv inspector is asking about a US certified safety sticker before I can title and tag it or I need a letter from manufacture stating it meets safety standards. How can I get a letter or a sticker?

Can anyone tell me where I can find the compliance stickers on a 1997 400fe. I recently bought the bike with a Nevada title and I'm having trouble getting it registered in CA

Hi Group, There is a safety recall notice on the support.ktm-parts.com for 2011 Husaberg FE 390, FE450, and FX450, dated May 18/11 concerning the handlebar clamps. Bottom line: " It is mandatory that you discontinue riding your motorcycle until the defect has been repaired." Cheers, Blaine

Got a -93 FE350 (Yes I know it is old). Brembo brakes. It desperately needs new pads but I just cant get the safety pin out. It rotates and moves slightly from side to side, but not out... What do I do wrong? Is there a friction lock and I should get the C-clamp out? Thanks!
