Hello, Does the 08 Husaberg fe650 CDI have a built in rev limiter? Thanks

Hey guys I have this Rev counter and it has a triangular connection that fit with one behind my headlight but it doesn't come on, I tested for power and I'm getting 12v maybe the unit is shot?

Before I start this thing up and go for a break in run on my fresh rebuild. I'd like to know what the rev limiter is set at, so I can try to avoid hitting it. I can't find a single mention of it in the manual, and can't find any info online about it either.

I run a 2003 FE501 with a 650 engine fitter. Would it be wise of me to fit a rev counter and if so which type. My speedo is a tech trail 11 which does not have one integrated into it.

Just fitting a Smiths tachometer to my 04 berg, runs off a 9v battery but I'm not clear from set up instruction how to wire pick up from ignition? Does the Husaberg engine have any sort of rev limiter built into the ignition? I find I am winding the engine up a bit on trails when the next corner is close enough that it's not worth shifting into third.
