reusable

Howdy! Considering bying a reusable oil filter (probably a Scott Performance).....they are however +/- 7 times more expensive than a normal paper filter....... and i can accept that, within a year I made my money.... On the scott website they mention that it's vastly superior to normal...

I was going through the service manual again and noticed that is calls for the oil drain seal to be replaced with each oil change - can this be true? I have ordered spare valve cover gaskets but are there other gaskets/seals/o-rings that need to be replaced as part of the regular servicing...
