Compression release lever: On my 08' FE 450 the lever is not on the bike to compression release. Is this a big deal or not ? I bought it this way, but do have the set up from another bike to put on. Should I install it ? I know there is one on the cam so ? Thanks in advance---Proflow

Does anyone offer a quick release skid plate. As the stock '11' is held on with one bolt and the rear hooks over the rear lower frame cross member I consider it to be quick release. I'd like one like this that has wider ears towards the front. Anyone make one???? Thanks !

Can anyone explain how the compression release operates on the 09 570. My starting motor is unable to rotate mine over the top and I have ruled out the battery and conecttions.. It could be the starting motor but I am thinking the compression release is not working.

Yep Im a plonker, it seems that when I put the seat back on my 09 570 I must have trapped the seat release pull under the seat, now I cannot get to it to release the seat. Anyone got any idea how I might manage to free the seat, I cannot get to the toggle at all, its well and truly jammed...
