I tried Berger's 496 and it has a much much nicer turning ratio than my 2001. How can I improve the way my bike turns? I don't expect to make it as nice and easy to turn but any advice would help!

I have a 2001 FS650e which destroyed the roller bearing on the exhaust rocker arm so I'm currently having head work done while it's apart. Has anyone milled the head to increase compression and if so, by what amount, and any negative side effects. Thanks in advance.
