Since the bike is a beast to kickstart I'd like to get some tips here. My bike is a 600 with kickstart only and the kick starter actuated decomp mechanism. I have kick started it a couple of times but I've yet to find a solid procedure.

The other week the bike got hot a couple of times and I could smell coolant (even though I couldn't see any) so I was thinking it'll be a good idea to flush the system.

I tried kicking the bike on a few different occasions but couldn't. now I know it works because a fellow rider helped me when we were out on a ride but he just played with every thing not really knowing what he was doing.
