Hi all so I wound the fork preload adjuster in just until it stopped. Now it's stuck and when I try to turn it back it also undoes the cap. Any suggestions ? Can I just unscrew the cap whilst still on the bike? Cheers

My forks have a top out spring. And when i extend (compress the top-out spring) I get a gap between the fork cap and compression spring. is that right ? Regards

How do you determine what you need? How do you adjust it? Do you just turn the "net" under the rebound adjustment at the top of the fork? I'm assuming counter-clockwise is 0 pre-load, and as you turn it clock-wise it adds more, correct? Can you make this adjustment with the forks on the bike?

anyone had cause to break apart a pre-load cap? I need to dismantle the last part of this pre-load cap and I'm left with rebound pin looking at me. I can see two slots down the side at 180 degrees apart. regards Taffy

hello, 2008 fs 650 e right preload fork adjuster , keeps unscrewing its self after a ride at the track. 1 complete turn per hour of driving. the left one is ok, both they are set 7 turns from fully unscrewed. can anyone help?
