When it dose it at start up it won't start but wait 10 seconds and try it again it starts. Checked the harness all looks ok.
Would this be a sensor or is the crank moving giving me an air gap to...
Hi there.
I have a 2014 FE250. The crankshaft position sensor has failed catastrophically twice now. Once at 200 miles, and again at 400 miles.
When it fails, I mean really fails... copper wires broken and spilling out of the sensor.
Has anyone else experienced this type of failure...
2011 FX450 Can anyone tell Me about the crank position sensor. Mine might be bad? Bike has spark , compression , fuel pressure good , fuel injector working good cleaned it and checked spray pattern also good. Bike will not start? Doesn't even run bad? No flashing lights. Help
hi all.did a service on my fe570 today, removed the strainer on the return line above the header pipe, cleaned it, without taking notice what direction it was in there.logic tells me it should go with open end of the strainer exposed the and the closed end into the "banjo bolt".
could someone...
When I got my 02 650 it was pretty much stripped down, so I'm rebuilding a bit of a jigsaw. I'm refitting the loom and have no idea where the finned rectifier bolts to?
Also I've got a violet and a brown wire "spare" at the top of the loom. They appear to be in the brake circuit. But there's...
I had an issue last week. I dropped my 2011 fe 390 on its side. Nothing hard. The tip over sensor tripped, the bike turned off. I picked up bike, started it, and off i went, for another 30 seconds anyway. The bike started to sound rough and more jolty when I gave it gas. Then it stalled as if I...
I would like to move the pedal position lower but I am already bottomed out on the master cylinder. I ride with my foot over the pedal and with it in the position it is in I tend to ride with the brake applied which in turn heats up and squeaks when applied. Anyone else have this problem? If so...
For the pre 09 models .
My 2005 Husaberg Repair manual clearly shows the large end of the Air Filter facing towards the rear
of the bike.
Wondering why so many of us are installing it with the small end facing to the rear.
Pollo

I've seen a few topics like this before and know that when pulling the cases off you can pull the lickstart shaft by mistake etc.
What I have is after putting it all back together the kickstart pushes through it's swing fine and returns to it's starting position however at the top position I...
Greetings all,
Recently when I was over at my local shop, the mechanic there Brett, asked me if I had ever checked the TPS on my carb, as every TPS he has checked on Husaberg's and KTM's alike were way off.
So, the next time I pulled my carb off I checked the TPS per the owers/repair...
Hi!
I have changed the kick axle and I am now not sure how to engage the clutch in order to get the exact cam position vs piston position. Se picture. The obvious answer is to place the dot on cam gear in between two dots on main gear.
The kick axle retaining the arm engaging kick gear is...
There's probably been a number of posts regarding TPS but a search in the Fuel Forum didn't return any results so I’m posting a request for information on the TPS for a 41 FCR on my 05 550.
I found that one of the three wires to the TPS broke in two. I removed the TPS to replace it and...
All,
Doing a bit of research for fuel injection purposes...
I ask, because I need to determine where it would be more important to have added accuracy.
a.k.a. You don't need to distinguish between 97% and 100% throttle, cause as far as the motor knows, you're WOT! But, for cruising...
Hi all,
Just fitted the high seat featured on the official Husaberg site to my FE550 05. What a difference this makes, no more dropping into the bike, seem to be sat on top of the bike making it alot easier to get your weight over the front end. Money well spent, these are available in the UK...
I have found a pretty good handle bar bend, the problem is that I am 6'2'' and it is too low. So can anyone recommend a good height for a handlebar mounts, and the company that makes them? Oh yea I have the scotts bar clamps with a damper so I will have to get a longer pin too.
Thanx
Hi guys, need some more help, at the moment I'm rebuilding my engine after replacing all the bearings. Thouble is the manual instructs that one of the pins on the selector drum (the pins that locate the selector star) should have a flat end, and this pin when positioned towards the front of the...
