plumbing

I worked on getting my FE570 fuel pump shut down issue resolved this weekend. I pulled the fuel pump and was shocked to see the amount of plumbing that was stuffed into such a small tank. There was at least 2 feet of 8MM flexible fuel line in there along with a large in line fuel filter. So...

I like to tinker... and I've read about people trying to plumb the subframe but gave up. I want to give it a shot before I order the 70 degrees. So if anyone has done it and has a write up I'd very much appreciate a link. Thanks all.
