I tried to correct a problem at 1/8 throttle (constant pace on a straight road) that has always plagued my bike.
I tried everything PS, PJ, NEEDLE, but it was just a turn around.
Then I started increasing the PAJ (PAS) and took it off completely this morning.
Now the bike goes with 1/8 - 1/6...
Hi I'm trying to deepen the jetting speech on my fs650 2007. I wanted clarification on the PAJ, which measures you use (I have the 100 but I don't like how the bike goes) and what should change
06 fe550 starts first kick when hot and ride pretty good then wont start cold and takes an hour playing with the choke and the air mix screw sometimes wont even get it going. sounds the same with it turned in all the way in and out,,,so what next after cleaning the plot jet and adjusting the air...

I found a lonely Swedish model by the side of the road and brought the stray home. She's not in bad shape. A few mods from previous owners. I'll take a ride through the posts and see what friends she might find...
I would like to know the relationship between different needle straight diameters and PJ's.
For example to get a certain fuel mix from idle to 1/4 throttle, with DVT needle and 45 PJ you would need a ? PJ with a DVR needle and ? PJ with a DVQ needle.
Any ideas?

Has anyone seen any off the Trophee Andros Pilot bike series? its currently being led by Eddy Richer on a 09 Husaberg. He has won 4/4 so far and has led each race by a considerable amount, its on motors tv in the UK.
my bike wont idle well unless i give it only 1/4 to 1/2 turn on the pilot screw. according to my manual it should be 1 1/2. it has standard jetting on the delorto.
i know the pilot is for idle bottom end...........but what i want to know is if it adds to the main? ie.. is the fuel/air...

The bike is all standard setup.
Does the 470 setup also fit this bike better?
