OEM brake pad type??? Sintered vs Carbon???

Subject line says it all... I have a '10 FE450. What are the OEM pads? Sintered or Carbon? Pros/cons of each? I've found the following: Carbon - less heat Sintered - better for mud and sand, hotter, last longer, hard on rotor Thoughts???

Brake Pad options - Radial Caliper

Anyone got recommendations for replacement pads for the radial caliper? I ran this weekend on the EBC pads and did not find them to my liking they have too much initial bite, and no progression or "feel". On the 6 pot non-radial caliper I was extremely happy with the R2 pads (thanks for...
